My name is Idylvain. I’m a writer. I’m American, Gen Z, and an armchair enthusiast in most areas of other’s expertise. We live in strange times. Because of this, I try to enjoy myself whenever I can. And of the many things that I’ve tried, I’ve found that I love writing things this most. Books, essays, poetry, schematics, recipes, projects, and whatever else I feel like making a mess of. I do. I keep busy. I collect hobbies, failures, and tests; and take great pride in ruining everything I might make by hand. For nonfiction I love writing about food and war. For everything els, I’m most interested in Monsters, Comedy, Horror. I spend most my time writing nothing. And most of my nights trying to make up for lost time. One day I’d like to publish physical things, but the industry is very slow. And so, until I can adequately credential a jump from pixels to paper, this website is where you can find most of my writing. Always for free, of course. If you came here from Youtube or Tiktok, thank you for you very much for being here. On video, I try to stick to my schtick. Here, however, I don’t discriminate with genre. And because of that, the tone and/or subject materials you might find here on this website could be dramatically different from what you’re used to, and in the same breath, vary quite drastically from project to project. And, if you happened to stumble here from somewhere else, thank you very much all the same. Your time is appreciated. As is your attention. As for my goals, I don’t have any at all. But for the moment, I think I just want to making something worth both of our times. That is, something I can enjoy making. And something worth consuming. And on the off chance I fail at even that, then...I at least promise to crash and burn so spectacularly it’ll almost be worth the read either way. So please, enjoy. And short of that. Consume.
